모로코의 최근 소식 및 저희들의 소식을 전합니다
많은 선교지와 선교사들을 돕고 후원하다 보면 핍박의 소식에 무감각 해질 수도 있을텐데, 그래도 관심을 갖고 기도해 주시기를 바라마지 않습니다
모로코 선교사 사회는 현재 Panic 상태입니다
지난 2월 미국 선교사 내외가 추방된 이래로 촉발된 선교사 적발 및 추방 사태는 현재까지 약 70여명의 선교사가 추방 되었구요.
약 30여명은 너무 절망한 나머지 자진 철수 하였습니다.
그러므로 약 200여명의 전체 선교사(한국 선교사 약 30여명 포함) 가운데 절반가까이 추방 또는 선교지를 자진해서 떠나고 있는 상황입니다.
그저 기도만 절로 나올 뿐입니다.
Lord, we pray as one body in Christ.
Whether we are doing your kingdom work in Morocco or Korea or Canada or US or Europ, we are one body with you as the Head. Whether we are Moroccan or Korean or Canadian or American r European, we are one body that shares its joy and pain together. We lift up our brothers and sisters in Morocco into your hands tonight. Even in the midst of this turmoil, we know your Sovereignty rule in that land and in their lives. And we thank you and trust you. We ask that your mercy will extend to the people who are arrested. We pray that our fellow brothers and sisters will be innocent as a dove, bold as a lion, yet shrewd as a snake. Even in the midst of fear, let Your light be evident in their words and actions. We pray for physical and spiritual protection. And we pray for assurance and comfort to the arrested and their families.

올 2월에 법무부 장관이 바뀌면서 그동안 축적해온 선교사에 대한 자료들을 바탕으로 "선교사 청소 작전"을 벌인것이라고 관계자들은 설명하고 있습니다.
이전 법무부 장관 가정과 저희 가정은 돈독한 관계였습니다.
3주후에 잠시 방문하여 교제를 할 계획입니다.
저는 작년 10월 이래로 안식년이라기보다 안쉴년과 같이 시간을 보내고 있습니다.
지난 2월에는 맨하탄에서 3일동안 뉴욕 전문인 선교대회를 가지기도 했고,
호주에서 집회를 인도하기도 했습니다.
뉴욕, 뉴져지, 필라델피아, 보스톤 등 미국 동부 지역과 토론토, 오타와, 몬트리올 등 캐나다 동부 지역을 방문하며 선교 집회를 인도하였습니다
이제 저는 1년간의 안식년을 마치고 8월 중순경 한국 방문 한달, 그리고 9월 말에 다시 모로코로 들어갈 계획입니다.
그전에 6월 17일부터 29일까지 12명의모로코 단기선교팀을 데리고 먼저 다녀옵니다.
모로코가 어려워진 것이 사실이지만 "전문인 선교사역"은 항상 열려 있습니다
많이 성원해 주시기를 부탁 드립니다

Dear Pastors and church brothers and sisters
Thank you so much for your prayer and considerance.
Please pray continually for Morocco.
Since February 2010, around 70 missionaries were expelled and 30 missionaries went out by themselves because the situation is very dangerous and discouraged.
Around 100 missionaries rest in Morocco but they are all shrunken.
Please pray for them.
Lord, we pray as one body in Christ.

Kate and I are very sad but we are not discouraged by this incident.
Morocco, Arab muslim countries are closing when church tries to reach out through traditional way but God really opens those remaining unreached people countries through "professional work" like business man, diplomatic, art, sport, medical, education.
So I'll go to Morocco 17~29 June with 11 short-termers (professional workers)
and then I'll visit Korea August.
and then I'll go back to Morocco again on September as a business man because I quit my job Korean Embassy last year.
we finish my Sabbaty year.
God will protect us guide us.
